How many ways can you sew a text block together you ask? Well, sew many that we cannot cover them all in one day, but we can try! Come for a day of sewing, nothing but sewing. Learn the most common yet different ways of keeping your text (or journals) together. We will sew with and without supports, with and without sewing frames. Bring bandaids —kidding!, bookbinding needles are actually quite dull, or at least they should be! We will punch holes, saw holes and use different punching jigs to get us started. We should get at least 5 text blocks sewn, or more if you are fast!
