Atelier
Le samedi, 27 janvier 2024, 9 h à 17 h
[Cet atelier est offert en anglais, mais l’instructeur fera son possible pour répondre à vos questions.]
Join CBBAG-OV for this one-day workshop, which will introduce participants to the delightful Star Book. At first the book looks like a simple exposed-spine structure with a ribbon tie at the fore-edge; but, undo the tie and watch as the book dramatically transforms into a 3-dimensional star!
This structure has a definite “wow” factor! Over the course of the day, participants will learn how to sew the castellated stitch; how to embed ribbon ties; and how to neatly cover book boards. Additionally, participants will be shown alternative ways that Star Books can be altered in order to change the appearance and the utility.
Prerequisite: BB1 is suggested, but not required.
