Looking to start working with leather, or learn something new?
Join us for this fun hands-on workshop! Leather bindings are an attractive and special method to create handmade books. In this workshop, we will create a single section binding with an interchangeable textblock and learn introductory covering techniques in leather.
Participants will finish the day with a passport sized binding and the ability to make more at home with hand tools only.
Suitable for all skill levels.
Bring your lunch and any tools you may have, including a mat board. If you have none, no worries, we will supply tools for you during the workshop.

Workshop Cost: $70.00 CBBAG members, $80.00 non-members
Material Fee: $30 (paid in cash to the instructor at the workshop)
Location: Nepean Creative Arts Centre, Studio 7, 35 Stafford Road, Ottawa. Note: Studio 7 entry door is located at the east end of the building facing Stafford Road (see image below)
