The last Marbling course we offered (in March) was such a great success we are offering the same course again! There were a few on the waiting list but we have lots of spots still open.
This two-day course will teach all the basics of paper marbling — you will leave with a good stack of beautiful marbled designs. You will work with tanks using up to 11″x14” paper. Learn how to set up your space, alum papers, prepare the marbling bath and paints, and create many traditional and modern patterns using whisks and combs. Different types of papers will be used to show the pros and cons of the paper you choose to marble with. Suitable for beginners, and intermediate marblers will pick up some tips and tricks with the opportunity to problem-solve.
Your instructor, Nancy French has been very succesful with her marbled paper and has taught for CBBAG, The Ottawa School of Art and many others.
