Call for artwork related to “the book”. We see the book as a point of departure.

  • handmade artist’s books, using traditional bookmaking method
  • work showing excellence in bookmaking or altering book
  • book-like objects or sculptures in which the primary interest or emphasis is visual rather than texture – homage to the book

ART and STREET PRINTING FESTIVAL
CALL FOR:  Artist-vendors, Volunteers, Artists
July 8, 2018  10:30 AM – 4:30 PM

For the third year running, Sebastopol Center for the Arts offers  a free outdoor Festival of the Arts celebrating the art and interactive printmaking activities for children and adults. Highlights include Live Street Printing by professional and amateur printmakers, using a 3-Ton Pavement Roller and the surface of the Sebastopol Center for the Art’s parking lot as the printing press. There will be live music, food and beverages, as well as many booths for Art-related activities.

ARTISTS…RENT A BOOTH! $75 before June 15.

Are you interested in selling your work? We welcome all artists:  printers, painters, drawers, photographers, jewelers, sculptors. Included are an 8ft table and 2 chairs.   Prices before and after June 15 will vary. Enter your application HERE.

VOLUNTEERS

Volunteering at the festival is a wonderful opportunity to be involved with this family -oriented, community supportive event. You will be surrounded by amazing creatives, including professional artists from all over the west coast. Click HERE if you want to be a volunteer

ARTISTS

Carve a 12″: x 12″ lino block and have it printed at the festival. To participate purchase a block at SCA for $25 before June 9.

Green: a great color and so much more!
This exhibition invites artists to express “Green” in different interpretations, variations and nuances of the color through figurative and abstract concepts of green,  but also expressions of environmental concern and ecological awareness.
