On September 16, at 5 PM PST on Zoom, the fifth lecture in the Alcuin Society Virtual Lecture Series 2021, two old friends talk about their craft and their shared passion for making books, in a talk called Two Fellas Talking Shop.
Gaspereau Press’s Andrew Steeves and wood engraver Wesley Bates have been friends and collaborators for nearly a quarter century. Wesley’s mirthful, masterly illustrations have been used in Gaspereau Press books more often than the work of any other artist.
