It is with great sadness that we announce that our dear friend and CBBAG colleague, Nancy Trottier of Deep River ON, has passed away March 17, 2020. She had been fighting many health issues for the past year and a half and succumbed to them peacefully in her sleep. A memorial service will be announced after Covid-19 retreats.
Nancy’s contribution to the books arts are many. She was a calligrapher, watercolor artist, and maker of artist’s books for almost 30 years. She was also a codicologist, using the concepts of manuscript codicology in the study of early printed books. Read more about Nancy’s contribution to the Book Arts, in her own words.
