Join us for a fun hands-on workshop learning to make drop spine “clamshell” boxes! These hinged lid boxes are perfect for protecting books, archives, prints, and anything else. In this practical workshop, participants will learn how to measure, cut and cover the boxes using a variety of techniques. Each attendee will finish the class with their own handmade box (covered in book cloth or a material of their choice) and all the skills to make more at home.
