Join us at our monthly meetings this fall (Wednesdays September 10, October 8, November 12 and December 10) for a make-along lead by Tiffany Moore. Learn to create an album binding following the instructions from Kathy Abbott’s book Bookbinding: A Step-by-step Guide (Project 4 in the book). A copy of the book will be available at the meetings for reference. Bring your project to each meeting to show and discuss your progress.
- Sept-Oct: Gathering materials, planning design, making the text block pages.
- Oct-Nov: Sewing the text block, rounding, finish and lining the text block.
- Nov-Dec: Making case and cover, casing in.
This activity will be lead by Tiffany Moore and take place at the Sandy Hill Community Centre, 250 Somerset Street East, Ottawa, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Bring a friend! These meetings are open to all and are free. More information.
