To commemorate the Ottawa Valley Chapter’s 10th anniversary in 2016, we wanted to try something different to promote the book arts and reach different audiences.
Welcome to the launch of a new website using the basic Omeka.net web publishing platform. For now, the database featured 48 works by 16 of our members and friends new and old, novice and experienced. The works are sorted in broad Book Arts categories, linked by tags in both French and English, and contextualized in exhibits. Pages, our first even online exhibit, is comprised of the works and thoughts of each participant and an original essay, providing insight into the Book Arts’ growing popularity.
