Whether you are an individual, institution or organization, consider becoming a CBBAG member if you are interested in the book arts or are one of the following:

  • bookbinder or book decorator
  • book collector, dealer, archivist, or conservator
  • librarian
  • calligrapher
  • paper-maker or marbler
  • letterpress and other printer
  • wood engraver

And support our goals to:

  • Create a spirit of community among book artists and artisans and with the book community
  • Promote greater public awareness of the book arts
  • Increase educational opportunities and foster excellence through exhibitions, workshops, and publications

CBBAG Membership Benefits

All CBBAG members

  • Have access to member profiles;
  • Receive the CBBAG Book Arts arts du livre Canada magazine published twice a year, the annual Membership List, other occasional publications, and CBBAG news;
  • Receive preferred rates on in-studio workshops and Home Study courses;
  • May participate in CBBAG book arts fairs;
  • May list themselves in CBBAG book arts directories;
  • May enter the Art of the Book juried exhibitions;
  • May borrow (by mail) from the extensive video loan collection;
  • May get involved in national leadership;
  • Receive a reduced rate on membership with Craft Ontario.
